ENROL NOW FOR 2025 〰️

Mrs Monique Ball

TEACHER

I want every child to be excited and supported when they attend Eastern Hills Community Kindergarten. I believe that Kindergarten is one of the most important parts of our schooling lives and is a critical building block for future success. I see every student as an individual and aim to support students to reach their full potential, and to be active citizens in this ever-changing world. The classroom is not just a building, but an exciting, interactive, inclusive and safe environment where children can explore their imagination, extend knowledge and have never ending possibilities. The indoor and outdoor classroom are always being changed and adapted to meet student needs, interests and to inspire a passion for lifelong learning. It is the relationship between every child and their world that reinforces positive engagement and full involvement in the educative process. I advocate for students emotional wellbeing and often use meditation, breathing techniques and yoga to create a calming environment where students can learn to regulate their emotions. A day teaching at the Eastern Hills Community Kindergarten is always a wonderful day!!

Anthea Poole

EDUCATION ASSISTANT

We are so excited to introduce our amazing Education Assistant Mrs Poole. She s incredibly, fun, caring and kind and all the children adore seeing her each morning at Kindy. Mrs Poole is very conscious in providing the children with a safe and fun environment in helping the children with the transition from home to school.

An Education Assistant provides both general and teaching support to the Teachers. This includes pastoral care for the children in the Class and maintaining conscious awareness of the needs of the children and the role of parents/ guardians in their child’s educational journey. Education Assistants have a strong commitment to and understanding of duty of care, participate actively in the play based activities at our Community Kindy.

We are incredibly fortunate to have Mrs Poole as she is incredibly calming, kind and compassionate. Our Kindy kids faces light up every morning when greeted by Anthea.
